Everest Panorama Trek Overview

The Everest Panorama Trek, also known as the Everest View Trek, is an easy, short trek tailored for those trekkers who desire to see Mt. Everest but do not have sufficient time to go all the way to Everest Base Camp or are restricted from going there for other reasons. This small trek to the Everest region offers you a grand view of Mount Everest (8848 m), the region's most beautiful mountain Amadablum, Lhotse, Nuptse, Peak 38, Thamserku, Khantega, Kwande Peak, and many other small peaks. This trek tour is not only about the mountain views but also a great chance to experience and to explore stunning Sherpa villages and have a close look at their fascinating Buddhist religion, culture, tradition, etc.

A scenic and exciting flight of 35 minutes to Lukla airstrip is thrilling; it is known as Asia’s most adventurous airport, and walking along the Dudh Koshi River to reach Namche Bazaar, a beautiful village that caters to many hotels, shops, bars, boutiques, and restaurants, is an active and lively town in the Everest region. Trekkers get chilled on the way back after the completion of their trip to the Everest trek. The ridge above Namche Bazaar offers an amazing view of Mt. Everest and other mountains of the Khumbu area.

It is a great experience to visit Tengboche Monastery. Trekking to Syangboche is another important day hike. While on the trek, Syangboche offers a breathtaking close view of Everest and other mountains. Visiting the biggest Sherpa village, Khumjung village, and Everest View Hotel (the five-star hotel at the highest elevation in the world; see the Guinness Book world record) is another attraction during this trek. Overall, we explore the villages, visit the ancient Buddhist monasteries and the Hillary School, and finally return to Namche for an overnight stay. Day 01:Fly to Lukla (2710m) and trek to Phakding (2610 m).

Today take a scenic flight to Lukla from Kathmandu, an exciting mountain flight that offers eye level excellent views of great Himalayan peaks including Everest, Lhotse, Makalu and other surrounding snow capped mountains. Upon arrival at Lukla airstrip, we meet our support staffs and start our wonderful journey towards Phakding passing through so many prayers wall, chortens, monasteries, prayers flags on the attractive trails along the bank of Dudhkoshi river. Stay overnight in lodge at Phakding. Stay overnight in lodge.

Cost Includes:

  • A registered local Sherpa trekking guide.
  • Porter to carry your main pack (weight limit 25 kg as per state law).
  • Meals: 7 Breakfasts, 7 Lunches, and 7 Dinners during the trek.
  • Mountain lodge accommodation on a twin/double sharing basis.
  • Kathmandu – Lukla – Kathmandu flight and airport taxes.
  • All necessary Everest Panorama trekking permits.
  • Office service charge, government taxes, VAT, etc.
  • Food, accommodation, and salary of your guide and porters.

  • Transfers, accommodation, and meals in Kathmandu.

  • Personal travel insurance, international air ticket, and Nepal visa fee.
  • Rescue operation charge in case of emergency (we arrange rescue on request).
  • Gratitude and tips for the guide and porter.

    Wilderness Excursion Kathmandu has Pradip running the show. Can not ask for anyone nicer, more helpful, more patient or more knowledgeable than him. Honestly, my whole experience in researching the tailored trek I wanted to do with my teenage daughter was made so smooth with Pradip's help. The level of comfort I had on arriving in Kathmandu knowing everything was in place was super. Our mountain guide and porter for our trek were equally brilliant. Our Sherpa guide was female which is an excellent thing. Dayangee was just so lovely and looked after my daughter and I. She handled all the checking in etc. with our tea-lodge accommodation and guided us brilliantly in the Himalaya. Our Sherpa porter Lakpa was equally lovely. He looked after me like a brother. Our connections will remain for life.

    Just finished my first trek and cannot compliment Pradip enough. We went from Lukla to Tengboche and his friendliness, knowledge of the area and flawless planning made this trip a truly lifetime experience. Perhaps most important, during the trip Pradip evaluated my trekking experience (none) and my fitness level (moderate) and adjusted our itinerary so that I was never required to go beyond my abilities and could really enjoy what I was doing and appreciate where I was. In my mind, that is the mark of a truly professional guide.

The trip price will be as per group size, season and tour package mode so please kindly provide us your details for tailor made program. For your information Lukla flight is notorious for being delay problem of domestic flights to and from Kathmandu by few hours or canceled for a day or more rarely, it may happen even in top trekking season also as you know how climate changes effecting our world. So, please allow a couple of spare night/s in Kathmandu following your trek if possible.
