Nepal Trekking Permit Increased

National Trust for Nature Conservation has increased the permits fees.

National Trust for Nature conservation has now increased trekking permit cost by 32.75 % .Now the new is NPR 3000.00 per person for foreigners, for SAARC Nationals including; Indian, Maldivian, Pakistani, Bhutanese, Sri Lankan, Bangadeshi  is NPR 1000.00 and Nepalese national entering the conservation area needs to pay NPR 100.00 Per person. 
Annapurna Conservation Area (ACA), Manaslu Conservation Area (MCA) and Gaurishankar Conservation Area (GCA) permit fee are no longer NPR 2260. It has now increased by almost 33% from previous cost of Rs 2260. The new cost already is effective from 15th October 2018. 
Nevertheless, the controlled area trekking permit cost still remains the same rate.
